The Process of Building a Log Home

1. Initial Client/Contractor Meeting on the Log Home Project:

The purpose of the initial client/contractor meeting is to: introduce the company and it's services to you, discuss your needs, wants and objectives, design idea's, budget amounts, explain company procedures and to determine whether the log home services will work for you. If we feel our services can benefit you, then we will prepare a detailed preliminary budget based on our Tennessee and Kentucky log home standard features list. This preliminary budget is based on the information received during our first meeting. This will take +/- 2-5 working days. There is no fee for the initial meeting. (It is important to mention that no design work will be done at this point.)

2. Second Client/Contractor Meeting:

The purpose of the second meeting is to: deliver the preliminary budget, review design ideas, budget figures, the New Tennessee log home construction agreement, payment schedules, our scheduling process and availability and discuss any concerns you might have. There is no fee for the second meeting, but before Gillespie Construction moves ahead with the project, The client must show a commitment in form of a deposit of $600 for designing and cost estimating. If you choose not to use our services at this time, any design documents and cost proposals will be the property of both Gillespie Log Homes and the Client. (unless other arrangements have been made).
(Most log home Projects require additional meetings for design changes and cost considerations. We're happy to take as long as needed to make sure you get exactly what you want within the budget you have established.)

3. Log Home Site inspection:

Gillespie Log Homes and the client perform an onsite inspection to determine the best placement and any design considerations.
